SHOWCASED AT EGX 2016

Of Gods and Monsters is an action tower-defence based around Greek mythology. Hades has set loose his army of monsters upon the mortal world and it's up to you to stop him. At times of struggle, you can call upon any of the ancient Greek gods for help, but beware the fickleness of the god's favour. Appeasing a god will make the others jealous, ignore any of the gods enough and you will face their wrath.

I was awarded a grant through the UK Games Fund's Tranzfuser competition to build together and lead a team to develop my concept for OGaM into a playable prototype demo over a strict 10 week period.

Our demo was selected to be showcased at EGX 2016, and received an overwhelmingly positive response from both the public and other developers at the show.

In addition to being the director, lead designer, and sole programmer of this project, it was also my job to manage the team throughout the rigorous 10 weeks, to drive work productivity whilst maintaining support and wellbeing for my team.

My role as a lead indie developer allowed me to build experience establishing and maintaining relationships with third-party contractors/clients, as well as granting me invaluable networking experience representing the studio at Develop: Brighton Conference and EGX: Birmingham 2016.
